Who are we?

Chris Hopwood

Chris launched tech partnership in 2023 after the success of his first agency FS Partnership. After fifteen years in the banking industry, he felt there was a need for an agency dedicated to financial services marketing. tech partnership was launched after helping several fintechs to grow rapidly and enter new markets.

Before leaving the banking industry, Chris was responsible for the RBS Group’s Performance Media and Content Strategy (RBS and Natwest Brands). He has also held senior roles in Barclays, Lloyds TSB and the National Australia Bank, in asset management, stockbroking and retail banking.

Sarah Cooper

Sarah has over 15 years’ experience in senior marketing roles, across B2B and B2C, both client and agency side. During 8 years at Intuit, Sarah worked across product marketing, customer acquisition and lifecycle marketing, most recently leading the Accountant segment for the UK. Sarah develops her plans from clear data & insights to deliver results and create delightful end-to-end experiences for clients.

In her time at tech partnership, Sarah has consistently delivered highly effective marketing plans for several global clients.

Jen Birchley

Jen brings over 15 years of experience in financial services and technology marketing. Her expertise spans both B2C and B2B environments, having worked with both multinationals and start-ups.

During her tenure at RBS, she served as the marketing lead for digital channels, overseeing multiple transformation projects that introduced new marketing technology. At Virgin Money, Jen led strategic initiatives, including a significant product migration and the development of a best-in-class mobile banking experience.

Over the past three years, she has led the strategic marketing plans for various technology clients.

Lenè Stebbing

Over the last two years, Lenè has supported various technology clients with research and insight to bolster their go-to-market plans. Her experience spans diverse industries, demanding adaptability in rapidly evolving sectors. Lenè has a substantial background in research and business administration, offering valuable support to multiple tech clients.

Martin Ring

Martin has served the technology sector for over 20 years in markets across Europe, the Middle East and the US. In a career which began at the Financial Times, Martin subsequently took on senior PR and Marketing roles with Cardif Pinnacle (a subsidiary of the BNP Paribas banking group) and Genworth Financial (a Fortune 500 company). More recently he has managed PR and Communications for several technology companies, as well as a variety of influential brands based in the UK and overseas.

Caroline Bates

Caroline has extensive experience as a client-side marketer and insight professional. Caroline was Head of Brand and Marketing Strategy at O2 Telefonica. She also led the Brand and Communications team within the Post Office, where she created the brand platform and approach for the People’s Post Office.

Kerenza Evans

Kerenza’s career has spanned the fields of advertising, writing and consultancy over 15 years. She began her career at Ogilvy, managing the advertising for a global Credit Card account across North America. Following this, she moved to Accenture to consult for clients across a range of industries from technology to media companies to the charity sector. Kerenza additionally has extensive experience writing and editing corporate, blog and marketing content.

James Dickens

James has sixteen years of analytics experience, specialising in performance-based marketing, accountability, and customer insight. The majority of this time was spent working for WPP’s GroupM, the UK’s largest media network, in two of their lead agencies, MediaCom and MEC.  James then moved on to the world of localised marketing, and spent four years leading the Client Service and data strategy offering of Mediaforce, the market leader in this area.
